The name I got stuck with:)
Savannah. Not too much to a name like that. It makes me think of eating tuna sandwiches on a hot summer day. I have no idea why. It should probably remind me of some place in Africa instead, with all the lions and cheetahs running around in the hot sun. Anyways, I’ve never decided if I like it or not. People like to replace your middle name with banana when you have that name. Not that I mind or anything. Sometimes when I’m bored I say the name over and over to myself. The more I say it, the more I realize ... Savannah is a weird name. But it’s the name I got stuck with, so I might as well make it look good(:

Haiku!!!
I wrote my first haiku! It's this type of poem that is three lines long ... if you don't know what it is you can google it because google is awesome and I know I'll mess up at trying to explain it. I'm a poetry nerd so I'm so excited about this ahhh!!!
Here is my very first Haiku:)
A leaf sits alone,
waiting to fall and float down,
it loses grip ... falls.
Lame I know:) but hey it was my first try. I think I'm liking this ...
To be honest writing it made me feel kind of smart, seeing as how I can't play chess, soduku, or understand Charles Dickens very well.
This is definitely the first of many more that I will write:)

Why I love winter
I decided to try be thankful winter is here instead of wishing summer was back. So here's my attempt at that
Why I love winter
Reason # 1. You can wear fuzzy socks
2. Hot chocolate
3. You won't get as sweaty when you go outside to exercise
4. Winter is pretty enchanting
5. Don't know exactly what, but something about it makes you feel closer to family
6. All the beautiful decorations ofcourse!
7. Snow
8. How awesome the trees look when they lose all their leaves
9. How your breath comes out in little puffs, then all the little kids pretend they're smoking x)
10. Wearing boots, scarves and hats
11. Christmas music that gets stuck in your head too easily
12. Sitting by a fire and reminiscing about the past year
13. Warm cookies
14. All the twinkle lights
15. You can make more wishes than usual, just because it's Christmas time
16. Putting up the Christmas tree
17. Drinking hot apple cider
18. Peppermint candles
19. Seeing those creepy nutcrackers people have in their house for decoration
20. Movie marathons
21. Wearing sweaters
22. Winter skies are breathtaking
23. Happy Birthday to Jesus!
24. Using the "my hands are cold" excuse so you can hold that special someone's hand
25. (secretly) anticipating giddily about Santa's arrival outside your house on Christmas Eve, even though you're Way to old to still believe in Santa
26. Ice skating
27. Watching 'It's Christmas Charlie Brown!'
28. Winter is mysterious
29. Leg warmers?
30. If you haven't noticed, winter has the word WIN in it :)
I miss summer!
This picture reminds me of summer! Man I miss summer so much ... I miss all the bright colors, the scent of bug repellent clinging to your clothes, wearing sunglasses, getting that nice tan back that winter took away, eating watermellon until your stomach hurts, and drawing with chalk on the sidewalk:)
Funny thing is though, I distinctly remember myself sitting there smack-dab in the middle of summer saying to myself, "Boy, I sure can't wait 'til winter rolls around!"
I guess it's like being so thirsty you feel like you'd do just about anything for a glass of water, then you remember back a few days ago when you had a full glass of water and not wanting to drink any of it. In that moment you think to yourself, "What in the world was wrong with me?!"
... Does this comparison even make sense? Idk:)
